A new lifetime distribution: transmuted exponential power distribution

In this study, a new statistical distribution called as Transmuted Exponential Power using the quadratic rank transmutation map introduced by Shaw and Buckley [23,24] is suggested. The various mathematical properties of are examined. method maximum likelihood estimation has been used to estimate unknown parameters distribution. Moreover, real data analysis compare with other some distributions goodness fit measures.

Many if not most lifetime distributions are motivated only by mathematical interest. Here, a new three parameter distribution motivated mainly by lifetime issues is introduced. Some properties of the new distribution including estimation procedures are derived. Two real data applications are described to show superior performance versus at least seven of the known lifetime models.
